early predictor which patients will have an adverse hospital outcome
AKA Alert Score
The ALERT Scale attempts to predict early which patients will have an adverse hospital outcome. It is based on the paper The ALERT scale: an observational study of early prediction of adverse hospital outcome for medical patients.
Julie calculates the Alert Scale in SAS based on ALERT Scale timing of assessment and ALERT Scale Calculation. See ALERT Scale Use for potential uses of this tool.
We support an ALERT Scale App to calculate this scale.
