Data definition for factor candidates for the Overstay2 project
This page documents the data definitions used in the Overstay2 scoring models, as defined during re-analysis and generation of Overstay2 model and implemented in Overstay2 module. See Overstay2 Overview for additional context.

Hospitalization
(PHIN and Visit Admit DtTm)
Discharge Ready DtTm
- The first Transfer Ready DtTm tmp entry associated to a Medicine record fro this #Hospitalization
Overstay
- Final Dispo DtTm of the #Hospitalization, no matter if a medicine or critical care record
- If there is no #Discharge Ready DtTm this will be considered as no Overstay ie it will lead to a Overstay of 0

- Age: age on date of first medicine unit admission
- Homeless: Pre acute living situation field = "Homeless"
- PCH: Pre acute living situation field in ("Personal Care Home", "Chronic Health Facility")
- WPG: construct based on Postal Code field#Grouping by Area
- OutsideWPG: (Previous Location corresponding s_dispo.geog in ('out-of-WPG','out-of-MB','out-of-CAN') );
- MB: Province = 'MB' or maybe Postal Code
