Part of the reason to move to the new fields is to make ICU and Medicine collection more similar to make it easier and less error prone for collectors to move between the two. **This does not make sense. Just put not for ICU under the field to remind everyone it is just for medicine. Making more work for ICU collectors is not productive.There are many other differences between the 2 areas are we going to make them all the some? Lois

  • We found some cases where, during the same hospitalization, there are different values for this. For example, the first ward admission may have "house" and the immediate next ICU admission may have "PCH". I think there is no scenario where that makes sense. If you can think of one, tell me.
