The Pat_ID field contains a unique-per-laptop identifying number for patient ward admissions. See Serial number.
Pat_ID is used in CCMDB.accdb. In CFE / [[Centralized_data.accdb]], D_ID is the equivalent. D_ID is the combination of the Service/Location and the Pat_ID.
